Perspective
Intelligence is what changes a decision. Everything else is letterheaded noise.
In Latin America there is a surplus of indicators and a shortage of questions. My work is to cut the report until it fits on a page a CEO can use.
Common risks
- Buying feeds and having no one to interpret them.
- Alerts that do not relate to the risks of the board itself.
- Theatricalising distant threats to justify budget.

- What decision does this report enable?
- What do we still not know?
- How does this risk compare with that of our peers?
- What would need to be rehearsed this week, not this year?
